FS2002 / CFS2: Mirage 5 BR "Mephisto" of the Belgian Airforce - 70 Years anniversary special scheme. This aircraft is a Belgian reconnaissance version of the Mirage 3. Textures only! Repaint by Erwin Welker.
Alternate aircraft files with improved behaviour and dp/cdp-files for CFS2 are included. The aircraft in CFS2 will be equipped then with 2 cannons.
Original Flightmodel by Denis and Daniel Da Silva.

You can find this and other flightmodels at the webside for MIRAGE AIRCRAFT FOR FLIGHSIMULATOR: http://www.mirage4fs.com

The idea to repaint this version I have had, when my son got a plastic model, scale 1:32, of this fantastic looking anniversary scheme Mirage 5. Therefore i have scanned the decals
before the model has been buildt (a complete plastic-model is hardly to press into a scanner). Later I realized that I could use only the writings and the devil from the decals, but I did my best in painting to come as close as possible to the original. Sorry, but the 3D-Model did not allow to do accurate paintings in th middle between the left and the right halfes of round bodies, therefore it was not possible to make correct apexes in front or behind the canopy or at the spike of the wing tanks. It was also impossible to display the Mephisto below the fuselage correctly. I am sorry that he does not look better.
If it disturbe you then feel free to overpaint it black (extended 24bit-map).

INSTALLATION:

Download the Mirage5BR.ZIP file directly at this link: http://www.mirage4fs.com/mirage5_all.html. Then install it (back up the original Aircraft.cfg and airfile by renaming).
Unzip my MirVmeph.zip and extract or copy the texture.Mephisto into the Mirage5BR folder in the aircraft folder. Also copy the 4 files from the folder Alternate aircraft files. (Now you have the original camouflage version and my "Mephisto" version).
